Every twenty minutes, someone is injured by an uninsured or untraced driver.
We are the Motor Insurers’ Bureau, and we exist to stop that. We get dangerous drivers off the road and compensate innocent victims.
Our work with government, insurers and the police has helped seize more than two million uninsured vehicles. That’s good, but we’re not stopping there because there’s a lot more to do.
We’re a not-for-profit organisation and we’ve been around for more than 70 years. In the last few years we’ve gone through a lot of change to make MIB a progressive and dynamic place to be, with an amazing culture at the heart of everything we do.
Today we’re at the start of an exciting chapter. Through the latest technologies, cross-industry partnerships and our unrivalled access to insurance data, we’re on a journey to make driving without insurance a thing of the past.
