The Platform team at RDT
The Platform team are responsible for enabling the delivery and operational capabilities of RDT solutions.

• Supporting and optimising solutions for performance, fault-tolerance, security, reliability, and cost
• Continually improving our systems, our practices, and our knowledge.
• Designing, building, automating, and deploying scalable and secure hybrid cloud infrastructure
• Enabling the solution delivery pipelines and process with self-service systems

The Senior Platform Azure Engineer role at RDT
Our team requires a Senior Platform Azure Engineer, reporting into the Solutions Director.

You will work with a team of platform engineers enabling other RDT implementation teams to deliver cloud solutions and define the cloud architecture and governance.

Essential skills

• Able to be hands-on with infrastructure as code
• Develop iterative product roadmaps
• Build strong principles and enforce robust methods and patterns
• Comfortable having conversations with clients, senior leadership and technology teams
• Manage complexity across multiple projects and stakeholders
• In touch with market trends
• Experience in Azure compute, storage, networking and cloud security
• Experience developing cloud solutions and building out landing zone zones
• Experience in scripting with modern languages like Terraform, PowerShell,

Ansible

• Experience working in agile development teams
• DevOps practices
• Experience of scalability, high availability and disaster recovery requirements
