Business Development Director

I am currently working with a lead brokerage who are looking to employ a Business Development Director for its Reinsurance Practice.

A very senior hire (with matching salary and benefits…) the role will work with and alongside the Brokers and Exec’s on a day-to-day basis as a team to ensure high win rates when prospecting to new Markets.

The team currently exist of ex PR, Marketing, Comm’s type individuals (a very impressive collective) who whilst are very much in it for the win, are clearly a strategic and highly articulate personnel more aligned to that of a Law firm, Agency type background than a typical Insurance Brokerage Sales team.

Whilst an understanding of The Reinsurance / Insurance market is great, this can all be taught. We are really focusing on classy PR & Comms individuals who can articulate themselves at the top table whether that be in person or more importantly through the written pitches and analysis that they can bring to life. As mentioned, this is a very senior hire working with the best team in the business.
