Insurance Officer (UK Based) Part Time

Make your mark as an Insurance Officer at Gardline!*
We are looking for an Insurance Officer to ensure that all claims are handled in a timely manner.
The role will suit someone with a good understanding of insurance claims processes, ideally gained in an insurance company environment but potentially within a specialist role in industry.
This role is office based in Great Yarmouth. Part-time role, (circa 15 hours per week). The working hours are flexible within the normal Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:30 and can be designed around the role holder, in agreement with their line manager. It would be expected that the role holder would work from the Great Yarmouth office around 50% of days.
Your responsibilities include:

• Claims handling – both general and marine claims – communicating and co-ordinating claims with all stakeholders.
• Management of the vehicle insurance with emphasis on ensuring the company meets its legal requirements.
• Dealing with general insurance enquires on local policies.
• Undertaking other tasks in support of the finance department as directed.
