We have a fantastic and rare opportunity for a Head of High Net Worth at NFU Mutual. The High Net Worth (know internally as Bespoke) insurance market is a key market segment where NFU Mutual is looking to invest and grow, supporting our strategy to specialise in niche markets by delivering a compelling customer proposition and experience. As the Head of High Net Worth, you will formulate, lead and implement the strategy across NFU Mutual maintaining responsibility for the overall profit and loss of the account, motivating and inspiring key stakeholders to ensure long term profitability and growth is achieved.

You will build and manage NFU Mutual’s reputation externally within the High Net Worth market, keeping well informed of market and competitor developments and sharing insight to enable NFU Mutual to proactively compete with competitors, driving growth in line with aspirations. Working with multiple departments and key NFU Mutual Agencies, you will build trust, credibility and influence senior stakeholders ensuring that HNW targets are effectively supported.

Head of High Net Worth

  • Basic salary up to £95,000 depending on experience, annual bonus 33%
  • 80% homeworking and maximum total pension contribution 20%

About you

You will ideally come from an established High Net Worth or Private Clients insurance background; however, we will consider candidates with an element of High Net Worth experience or candidates with a Commercial Insurance background. Significant experience of leading strategy and performance for a complex insurance market/segment, including experience of running a Profit and Loss Account is key. You will have experience of leading and influencing multi-discipline teams, and experience of managing financial performance and delivering full profit and loss accountability. Knowledge of general insurance principles, processes and procedures is a must.
