Our client is on the lookout for an ambitious Regional Client Manager to join our expanding Construction Warranty Insurance Department looking after and developing a portfolio of clients within the construction industry for both the residential and commercial sector. Experience in the construction, warranty insurance field is a must.

You will be working alongside the board of directors and supporting our in-house team.

Duties & responsibilities:

  • Proactively developing and managing relationships with sophisticated, high-value and business significant clients in the construction industry; delivery of differentiated and exceptional client service; identifying opportunities for business development/service improvement
  • Delivery of premium growth, profit and retention targets;
  • Responsible for leading initiatives for service and operational improvements by acting on feedback from customers;
  • Sharing findings and best practice within the team in order to build capability and overall team efficiency;
  • Travelling to client meetings, both locally and nationwide when required;
  • Support and optimisation of the departments MI and reporting requirements;
  • Working with underwriting, claims and risk surveyors teams to scope and design bespoke insurance solutions tailored to the needs of individual clients
  • Taking responsibility for the delivery of our service from initial design through to external negotiation, client presentations, and long-term relationship management
  • Growing and managing a team

Skills & Experience required:

  • Has or working towards ACII or degree equivalent (preferred not essential);
  • Experience in corporate sales;
  • An in-depth understanding of construction warranty insurance, market distribution network;
  • Strong client relationship management skills and negotiating skills at a senior level;
  • Ability to think long term both strategically and operationally;
  • Highly motivated, collaborative team player with a ‘can do’, winning mentality;
  • Takes ownership and responsibility, strong professional pride and integrity;
  • Hold a current driving licence (role comes with Company Car/Company Car Allowance)
  • Have the ability to travel in the UK dependant on businesses need
