Your role
- Working and starting to lead as part of a team of industry specialists providing consulting services across major insurance clients, so you will quickly build upon your existing industry knowledge to become an expert in your field
- Primarily focusing on the delivery of client work that will successfully fulfil and exceed client expectations and deliver engagement and programme objectives
- Owning clear deliverables and leading small work streams and starting to develop strong long-term client relationships with aim to be recognized as a trusted business advisor in the retail banking sector
- Actively participating in and contributing to the development of the Banking, Insurance and Investment Operations practice team
- Working effectively in diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognized for their contribution
Assignments will be focused across the full spectrum of the Insurance Market be that General Insurance, London Market or International business and will include:
- Building the underwriter or broker of the future, transforming the way our clients assess and manage risk using new ways of working
- Creating insurance efficiency and automation, including Robotic Process Automation and more
- Challenging how insurers and claims handlers should look at claims in an ever evolving space, enabled by technology
- Delivering complex insurance transformations in the London Market, the General Market or Internationally
- Supporting our clients to shape and address their risk and regulatory agenda
- Delivering cost reduction across organisations

- Experience within a (re)insurer or insurance brokerage, or a consulting firm involved in Insurance or Life and Pensions activities
- Knowledge and understanding of the UK insurance industry and market, including macro trends (regulatory, economic, and business factors) and disruptive technologies (Robotics, Big Data and Digital) that are driving change and impacting business models of key institutions
- Experience of delivering small projects or leading workstreams on transformations
- Excellent ability in Microsoft Office, particularly in Powerpoint and Excel
- Excellent communication and people skills, with a strong emphasis on team working
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work on diverse teams with a diverse range of people
- An understanding of risk, how to mitigate risk and protect the firm’s reputation
- “Can do” attitude with a real willingness to learn and participate
- Enthusiasm and passion for the delivery of market leading solutions that make a difference
- An understanding of the diverse requirements of clients and the need to work on projects in differing geographies and time zones
Preferred
- Experience of working on or delivering transformation in insurance operations such as target operating model design / implementation, process re-engineering or cost reduction
- Experience of working in Agile delivery frameworks, especially in Insurance environments
- Ability to operate and understand Project and Programme management disciplines including production of project plans, key quality Programme deliverables and working and delivering to strict time constraints
